[Faculty] Invitation to Our Courageous Conversations Series

Dear Colleagues,

In the summer of 2020, the University of California, Riverside, School of Medicine established a Health Equity, Social Justice, and Anti-Racism four-year curricular thread. Dean Deas, senior leadership, and student leaders of UCR SOM entrusted Dr. Carlos Cortes and I with addressing Health Equity, Social Justice and Anti-Racism (HESJAR) in medical education and beyond.

After a series of focus group listening sessions, we are happy to announce that we will be starting a series of dialogue and conversations between our school and members of the communities we serve.

We are excited to begin this series with an introductory session scheduled for Oct 24th at
10 am PDT.
