Dear UCR Faculty,

As we near the end of the quarter, we would like to remind you that grading
for the Fall term is now open. Please review the following important
information regarding grade submission:

   - *Tuesday, December 16th at 11:59pm* is the final deadline for
   submitting grades via iGrade <http://igrade.ucr.edu/>.
   - Courses without submitted grades will be designated with a "GD" (Grade
Delay), which can potentially affect students' course registration and
   graduation.
   - If you are teaching an “In Progress” course, please remember that
students should be given the grade “IP” until their final quarter, in which
they should receive a letter or S/NC grade. An incomplete (“I”) is not
generally a correct mark for an “In Progress” course.
   - We have provided a grading scale
   <https://studentdocs.ucr.edu/registrar/iGrade_Grading_Scale.pdf> on our
   website <https://registrar.ucr.edu/resources/igrade#training_resources>
for your reference, which includes different grade levels for undergraduate
   (U) and graduate (G) students, as well as different grade modes/types (such
as Satisfactory/No Credit, Letter Grade, or both).
   - Canvas rosters can be easily imported into iGrade
   <http://igrade.ucr.edu/> without any additional manipulation.
   Instructions are available here
   <https://registrar.ucr.edu/resources/igrade#training-resources> for your
   convenience.

To review your course list, please follow these steps:

1. Log into iGrade using your UCR NetID and password.

2. Your courses for the Fall term should be displayed. If they are not:

   a. Select “Fall 2025” from the “Select a Term” dropdown menu.

   b. Click “Update Course List.”

   c. Your current course(s) for Fall 2025 should then be visible.

3. If you encounter any missing or incorrect courses, please contact your
department scheduling coordinator for assistance.

Additional resources for iGrade and grading can be found on the Registrar’s
Website. Registrar’s Website <https://registrar.ucr.edu/resources/igrade>.
For additional questions or assistance, please contact me or call the
Registrar’s Office at (951) 827-7284.

Best,
Halim
