[Students] Cast Your Ballot by November 8

Dear Campus Community,

As we near the general election on Tuesday, November 8, I am writing to encourage all registered voters to get out and vote. Voting is the one tool all of us have to show our support for democracy.

If you are registered to vote in California, you should have received a ballot at the address on your registration. If you choose to vote by mail<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbj5gnaLqV0>, your ballot must be postmarked no later than November 8 and received no later than 7 days after election day.

In Riverside County, you can also vote at any of the 119 Vote Centers that will be open in the four days leading up to the election. The Riverside County Registrar of Voters has a list<https://voteinfo.net/Elections/20221108/docs/Vote%20Centers.pdf> of vote centers, a map<https://countyofriverside.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=55bda3c93b9d4d0dba1f6e8878fb3675> for finding vote centers, and other information<https://voteinfo.net/Elections/20221108/2022_11_08.asp> that may be helpful.

If you live in one of the surrounding counties, you’ll find similar information available from your county’s Registrar of Voters.

We realize that some of our campus community are not eligible to vote. Regardless, we invite you to be engaged in the process and take full advantage of your rights to advocate for candidates and the issues important to you. 

But to all who can, we hope you will make the commitment to be a full participant in the political process and make your voice heard by casting your ballot on or before Tuesday, November 8.
