[Tapscustomers] Book your time slot now for the “Donations for Citations” Blood Drive

Transportation Services is once again partnering with LifeStream Blood Bank to host the annual Donations for Citations Blood Drive on October 31st and November 1st.  The program provides an opportunity to donate blood as an alternative to paying a citation fee.  Donors will receive full credit towards a parking violation up to $79.  However, any late fees accrued will need to be paid separately.

LifeStream needs your donation, regardless of whether you have a citation or not!  Blood supplies have been low in our community and every blood donation helps in a big way.  By simply attempting to give blood at our blood drive you have the option of using your donation to pay off your own citation, crediting the donation to a friend, or it will be credited to a random citation done through a raffle.  In addition, everyone that attempts to donate blood will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a bike package!
The blood drive will be held at Transportation Services on October 31 and November 1, 2023, between 9am-3pm.  To reserve a time, go to Lifestream’s website<https://www.lstream.org/ucrtaps/> to schedule an appointment.  You may also donate blood at any official blood bank between October 23 – November 1, 2023.  Just make sure to ask for a receipt or proof of donation to redeem at Transportation Services by end of day November 1, 2023.
